Dr. Katie Sullivan attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in the Caribbean on the island of St. Kitts.
She completed her clinical skills year at Auburn University in Alabama. She is originally from Massachusetts, but moved to Florida to be closer to family. She tried multiple different riding disciplines growing up, but her passion remains eventing. A lot of her riding career growing up was geared towards off the track thoroughbreds. She was an equine veterinary technician before going to veterinary school, giving her over 10 years of experience in multiple aspects of this industry. She has a strong interest and passion for equine sports medicine specifically.
While she is not at work, she enjoys hiking with her dog and boyfriend, going fishing, and anything outdoors.
